Starting from 21-06-2001, SXHS offers primary school education. Subsequently, SXHS adding one class every year to grow to the stature of a senior secondary school with classes from I to XII. The school offers the National Curriculum recommended by NCERT and follows CBSE syllabus. Instruction is through the medium of English, with Oriya/Hindi as options for the IInd language. We use a curriculum developed by the management specially designed to address the learners’ need to have lessons that are more relevant, enjoyable, challenging and creative. Students will learn in multiple ways – working in groups, using discovery techniques, exploring learning centers in the classrooms and community resources. Overall, the curriculum aims to holistically develop the knowledge, skills and attitude of the child. Teachers at SXHS use innovative and creative methods to incorporate value and life skills education in all school activities – academic, co-curricular and sports. Classes held everyday of the week except Sundays and designated holidays. While the children are provided with regular homework to ensure that they keep up with their studies, every care will be taken to see that they are not overburdened with work. The school will enforce strict punctuality. The teaching staffs constantly strive to pay attention to the individual needs of the children without discriminating amongst them.
